CS ACADEMY
What’s it all about?
The Champion Sports Academy programme aims to give young players a fantastic, safe and rewarding introduction into football. Our coaching programme is developed to improve each players love for the game and self-belief by actively encouraging them to be brave and creative in trying new skills and techniques.
The key outcome is to provide an environment that allows players to fully express themselves and develop their own unique style. Each player will have different reasons for playing the game and we encourage them to build their development around what inspires them. Whether a goal scorer, dribbler, passer, defender or goalkeeper all players will have the freedom to explore and develop.
We encourage players to ‘impress themselves and promote a YOU vs YOURSELF model for player development.
From this positive starting point, we then begin the process of decision making inside the game and how to use one or two teammates in order to be successful.
The role of our coaching staff is to guide the players on their individual journeys and we welcome regular interaction with parents to support this process.
